ATTENTION ALL RC MEMBERS!!!
We have a new situation to discuss about the Venice map.
There has been some questioning as of late as to whether it is allowed for an Axis to enter the hallway by the 2nd boat barrier. The wall inside of the hallway is repairable, which makes it an OBJECTIVE for the Axis team. Being able to reconstruct this hallway passageway is a KEY part to controlling the tempo of the game. When the boat is right around the 2nd barrier about to win the game, an Axis can rebuild this barrier to help slow down their attack.
I'm not saying that ANY player should be allowed in the hallway, but only ENGINEERS should be allowed in with the strict objective of repairing the hallway passage.
There should be no camping INSIDE the door, but remaining outside of the door on the wooden dock should be acceptable.
Restricting Axis players from rebuilding the barrier is favoring the allies and gives them a huge advantage.
ALSO, the Allies have 4 SPAWN EXITS.
1. The hallway by the stairs
2. Through the hallway by where the tank knocks over the fence.
3. Through the 2 windows on the 2nd level of the building
4. Past the piano where they can go left or right.
In my opinion repairing this wall should be allowed for IT IS AN OBJECTIVE TO THE GAME!!!
Only engineers who are going in to repair it and get out should be permitted, all others need to follow the same laws!
This is just my thoughts on it after have several discussions in game with RC Members.
Please let me know what yall think or if I need to alter my gameplay...
Merry Christmas!

Agree that that wall was a recently added feature thus making it a minor objective for axis engies. However, until this is updated into the rules, existing SK rules hold precedent.
Restricting allies from blowing it can be a legitimate strategy but planting dynos (axis engies need to go in and plant) at the base of the staircase constitutes to SK as it is inside the SK boundary. In other words, there is no real way based on current rules to stop allies from blowing that wall short of rewriting the SK rules on the allies second spawn.
Axis engie attempting to rebuild the wall can defend himself if he is shot upon but should not shoot first. Also, it is against the rules to provoke a response from allies descending the stairs so that return fire seemed legitimate by standing at the base of the staircase.
Anyway, this topic came about because I warned you about SK as you were camping at the jetty area with a M97 and planting dynos inside. You made few attempts to rebuild the wall as you know very well that allies will use that exit. Therefore, standing right at that exit blocking the allies constitutes to spawn camping. If you were only actively rebuilding the wall then fine but you werent because the base of the staircase is a perfect kill-zone for the M97 you were holding.

We need more clarification on the repairable wall
As far as I can see Axis Engy ONLY is still allowed in to repair it.
WE need a yes or no on this its causing confusion
IMO get rid of it then its easier to manage..players going in.

When the version of map allows to rebuild the door, it allows to all players enter till the top of the stairs (next the door). if they cross the door is SK!
