Walking across river.
Can someone explain why walking across the river is wall jump? What is the guiding principal?
I mean you can walk right up to the wire and jump over it with a single jump while taking some damage from the wire. It's not like you need to trick jump or double jump. And its not like you circumnavigating a map barrier (eg. you still need to build bridge to move tank and advance map)
The only reason I can imagine someone decided it was WJ was because allies CAN build a foot bridge, so therefor getting across any other way must be WJ. But that doesn't make sense. Consider Marrakech streets for a minute. The allies need to blow garden gate to get at lab...OR then can go around. Blowing the gate is just shorter, NOT mandatory. Going around is not WJ. Also, if the axis build that wire barricade, does that mean allies can't jump over it? Of course they can, the wire is a hazard not a barrier.
In my opinion the wire in Fuel Dump is a hazard not a barrier.
I think this wall jump rule is misguided and I hope that it is repealed.
If double jump is taken of the server, you will not be able to overcome any of those fences.. so in rules it is double jump, and if its double jump then it is wall jump. Just stick to the rules and they will be happy.
