How to bind capital letters

I had serious problems binding these myself, but with some help of Howard (Thx Ben ;) ) I managed to get my capital binds oke :)
Here is an example taken out of my own cfg.
idk if it's right translated? Capital letters, I mean by example: A instead of a
set Thanks vsay"Thanks""^eT^9hank ^eY^9ou!
bind "PGDN" vstr Thanks
I'll explain:
Set = to set the thing into something else (example set binds'text)
Thanks = the vsay you want to be replaced
Thanks (2)= the vsay you want it to be
^eT^9hank ^eY^9ou! = text you want it to say (with the capital letters)
bind = to bind something (doesn't need explaining?)
"PGDN" = key you want it to be
vstr = "Both Identifies what follows it as a variable string, used for scripting."
Thanks = vsay command bind

(cause he helped alot!! :D )
and for the rest I use the following site, also got it from Howard, http://www.rtcw.jolt... ... dcvarlist/
it isn't a site for people that don't understand anything off binding, scripting etc...
Cheerio!

(example) ***Sm0k3Signalz*** put NAME (player just killed) 6 feet under...
hope my example is understandable... I would like to make my binds like that... also seen binds display remaining HP and remaining rounds (bullets) when asking for a Medic or for Ammo
Plz HELP!
Thanks,

[a] = player that gave you ammo
[d] = last player who killed you
[h] = last player that gave you health
[k] = last player that you killed
[l] = current location
[n] = your current name
[r] = last player who revived you
[p] = teammate you are pointing at
[s] = current health
[w] = weapon you are holding
[t] = ammo of current weapon
so just insert these [x] in you bind for the name
example: bind xxxxxxxxxx vsay: [a] thanks for the ammo! (the [x] will be automatically replaced by name :) )

hope I was able to help you out! :mrgreen:

\bind [key] say [command]
If you're trying to bind a vsay:
\bind [key] vsay [command]

So I want a bind, that matches on the following points:
1. vsay: Holdfire
2. uses say !message ^eN^9o ^eS^9pawn^eK^9illing or ^eW^9all^eJ^9umping!
so a vsay and a !command
surprise me!
PS: it isn't as easy as you think ... :twisted:
