Hello allied clans,

I'm writing this message only once (for the sake of time) and posting it on all allied clan forums, so please excuse any 1st/2nd/3rd person misusages.

Over a month ago now, -{FOB}-Zozi made a proposal to you including several different items, which every clan had fully agreed to. In follow up, Zozi left this reply to one of the proposal threads:

"First and Foremost, let us start with the Joint X-Fire Group. This group will be joined by members from all 5 clans as well as all alliance servers listed. Each clan will nominate one representative to be seated in the position of Group Admin for the xfire group. We also need a name for the group, which will also be the name of the Alliance."

Several of us in the upper admin ranks of FOB (especially Zozi) have been a bit distracted lately with r/l things, which is why progress has been a bit sluggish and is why I'm personally choosing to move forward with this now. So, that all being said, I will get to the point of my topic...

Last night, I created the joint Xfire group for the 5 clans that agreed to FOB's proposal: PDP, RC, V&W, WZ, and ourselves of course. There are 6 ranks within this group that each person will be categorized in: One for each group as well as the main "Group Admin" rank that Zozi mentioned. I will need each clan to nominate a representative that will stand as the only group admin for their clan. We can deal with that later though. For now I just want you to think about it.

The name of the group itself is "ET5 Alliance". Rather than investing another month's time trying to come up with a more clever name, I just went with something short and obvious. ET5 is basically an adaptaion of the world's tendency to label international alliances by G# (# of nations involved). Only in our case, we're dealing with ET; not the world.

Soon, you will all be receiving invites to join this group. I request that you don't ignore it, as this is an aspect of your clan membership that's been agreed on by all of your respective clan leaders. Once you join this group, there will be a separate group on your Xfire buddy list, which will list all members of each allied clan (the ones that use Xfire that is). The format for your nickname in this group will be that of what you use in the game servers. For example, mine will be "-{FOB}-Arcadius". This will distinguish each member into their own clans and wil allow us to move each person into their appropriate alliance rank.

The goal of all of this is too increase communication between all allied clans, make communication itself easier and more time efficient, and hopefully will aid in the progress of the rest of our upcoming agenda. If you have any questions, just post a reply!

I just realized.

This will be a useful tool for Friday Server Hop day.

This will allow other RC to see where RC members are playing. (one of the alliance servers)

Now, I just need to know which member will represent your clan as one of the 5 administrators. This person will be made an Xfire admin in the joint group so that they can invite/moderate/remove the members in their clan. You can let me know just by replying to this topic. Thanks!
