1. Snaps is server based. Using 40 will have no effect on client if server doesn't support it.
2. TCP/IP tunning will give no benefit in the game since the game is UDP based.
3. cl_maxpackets should be half of your avg FPS if your avg FPS is less then 100. If you use com_maxfps > 100 use cl_maxpackets = 100.
4. Timenudge is good but let the mod anti lag handle it. It handles better.
5. Make sure using high rate, you don't chock your BW.
6. @Win XP = 10 years old operating system. Use windows 7 and get better PC. No matter what you do if your PC is old, you will lag. Game is only fun if you get more then 60 FPS stable.
7. Use 128 hunk meg min. com_hunkmeg
8. If you play on PB enabled server disable anti virus and firewall while playing. Even if you play on non PB server disable it.

.....there enough servers who support it, but you´re right, the most have the settings at 30 max.

......some players have a individuelle art to play their game. That Bot can´t set it at one point, - it goes up and down = bad for your linear Playing-. You can set Antilag (i think every player have it enable) and beside set your own setting -play and test what comes nearest to your gaming style.

...right, but we have a lot of Gamer who have an old comp. and can´t enjoy faster / stronger ways...(as Kids with the PC from Daddy...the old one   )

yes.... same as above...what make the Kid with Daddys old comp. ? So i show what is possible, and then can everybody test what is the best setting for her/him or the pc)

You can every good Anti-Virus-Program and Firewall set to they "ignore" that program or Port/s. If you in Game - close all beside (maybe you need x-fire or a music prg...) that will have more effect, but its right, both can slow your connection a bit....i should include that maybe ....
