just got a new comp. and NQ says I'm banned. No problem in sexy though.

Did you just copy your old et key into et main folder?

When I reinstalled wolf i had to copy not just my cd key into etmain, i also had to copy my NQ folder too (not into etmain, in the folder etmain is in). I think it was the profile folder that needed to be copied from NQ. I don't think just copying the other profile works it has to be NQ. Did it ban you for a crazy amount of time like 3785939994324442 seconds? I tried just copying my key before but it still banned me it has to be with the profile in NQ folder.

If your xp in sexy was 0 then you weren't saved with a profile that you had to copy so it just made a new one in your jaymod folder.

If you don't have your old NQ folder then youll have to ask for your xp back.

to get unbanned you can do a couple of things:

1) easiest way is just to install wolf again and not copy your et key
2)delete the et key in your etmain and let it generate a new one also create a new profile (although this might cause problems in sexy but get you unbanned from NQ),

Possible Reason This Happens:

After you install ET your key isn't generated until you connect to your first server and thats also when your NQ profile is created. I think if you already have a key in your etmain before its officially generated ET tries to generate one but it can't and it doesn't search for an existing one, so basically ET thinks you don't have a key. Some how at this point ET must link your key with your profile and if it can't generate the key it can't generate a profile. So I think (not sure) that it bans you because you don't have a key and it thinks you don't have a key because it's not linked to a profile and it can't create the profile because it can't generate a key etc. In short an error happens.

p.s. you shouldn't post openly about your ban, you might alert yourself and change your ip guid and name so we'd have to identify you all over again j/k

I reacted spontanly,and my post was dedicated for HJ not to alert or create a problem ..But,my opinion is my way of thinking and i choose to speak freely about what Im thinking is wrong..

"Tomorow" may someone jerk about any any other religion (or) and than we are in "Pandoras box"..

that's the thing ,I don't think I was actually banned. I was playing up 'til my other comp. died a spectacular death, but nothing was able to be retrieved off the old comp.
I had to reinstall everything. When I tried to play I was getting -- "game code [ui_mp.x86_dll] failed pure server check" -- and I got past that by right click the game shortcut and play as administrator and when it finally did connect it said you are banned for some ridiculously long time like 366654353747 seconds.
Any ideas?

Weird, I just checked the bans on NQ and you aren't on the list... Have you tried connecting today?

open your ET with administrator and connect to NQ or sexy server then you good to go
had the same problem with my new laptop

Ic, long post for nothing before but maybe it helps someone in the future. You can try creating a new profile, you may even delete your profile folder and let it generate a new default profile. Rash also had this problem in the past and when he made a new profile he could get onto th server. I also had this problem and new profile solved it (before i figured out to copy NQ folder).

A question about your old comp, did your hard drive go too? Was everything fried because normally only parts of comp go and you can take out the other ones, like your hard drive, and put them in another comp to get information off of them.

I also find your name to be hilarious, i always say it with a backwater sotherner accent and crack myself up.

so if click on the game icon and go in as administrator i get past that then i get the 'you are banned'  reason- you're banned
