Ping/latency

anyone understand this ping latency thing ??
when the server has 10-16 players,i do well it runs stable and i hit what im aiming at
in short the game acts like i think it should



but when the server has 26 players
im still takeing damage 4 steps around a corner
every person that shoots me gets hs on me
i meet an enemy and die or almost die before i even get a shot off
enemys move faster than they did earlier in the evening with fewer players on the server
i can pump a fill clip into a running enemy,and only hear 3-4 hit sounds
i can shoot anenemy and hear 4 hs sounds,and he still isnt dead.
im getting kicked from like 10 feet away,wtf ?


what most freustrateing is that theres players that are leet under thease circumstances
i dont think my aim is so much worse than theirs,but somehow they dance all around and get hs on me and punk me,and you too :)

i can run negitive time nudge but it dosent fix this issue.................

SO,understanding the issue,or even identifing whats happening here would help me resech this issue
is it ping ?? if so how come high pingers have such a clear advantage
it it latency ?? if so how does it corralate to ping,and how do you fix it ??

anyone know anything that might help me here ?
if so and it works ill turn you onto some things that have changes my game emensly.
im not more accurate according to the stats at the end of the map
but my kills have doubled

Ping is the round trip time from your computer to the server and back to your computer (so a ping of 50ms would be 25 from your comp to the server and 25 from the server back to you).
but when the server has 26 players

The problem is the mod, ping doesn't matter in nq which is why you get a lot of high ping players so as more of those people start connecting it slows the server down.

leets and NQ is a oxymoron

All I can say is etpro but good luck finding a pubpro server and get a good ping.

Timenudge will not help much in your case... you will just start extrapolating which you shouldn't to begin with. Try -10 to -15 timenudge and see if it helps.

Check your lagometer to resolve your issue. Under all cases you should have stable blue and stable green line.

Unstable green line = Your internet issue or your PC CPU/HD issue if it has small spikes in it even if your ping is stable.
Unstable blue line = Server issue.
Red spikes = Packet loss. BAD! Shouldn't happen for long run.

If you have good PC and Internet and nice router it would be server issue.. that it can't handle 30+ players. Sometimes this server machines are overload ...

What all this server hosting companies do is add 300 slots on one machine.. while it can hardly handle 150-200 players.. so when you see 200+ players, lag lag lag starts....
- Linux doesn't need no viruses. The users **** up the system by themselves.
- C++ is a loaded machine gun pointed at your feet with the safety off.
