the 1 has been around for quite awhile, its put on every year, so i dont think its that 1, could be the other though, either that, or duty put the script back in and its crashing the server again

At 9:30-9:33pm 12/14/2011 server reset and all xp was reset too. Admin levels are still intact but thats alot of people to xp, although I'm guessing its not much more then when server was switched earlier this year so its not like we haven't been through this before. Thing is I rejoined 1 minute later and it wasn't until about 20 mins later did someone else join. I was jammin to what i think the guy says shamu in santas groto, theres nothing like shamu being mentioned in a rap christmas song, i love it.

Only thing I can say is that earlier today a low xp canadian flag named ProteinPowderMax was suspected of hax and being the canadian hacker. He wasn't banned this time just frozen but he immediately disconnected and I stayed on server watching and he didn't try to return...which is odd for him/her/whateverthehellitis. Maybe this is a christamas present from the canadian hacker saying merry christmas and a happy new years...and new xp too. I have no screenshots or demons (demos) confirming this but thats the only out of place thing that happened today other then this so its natural for me to connect the two.

Although taking out some paranoia, server was experienceing bad lag today off and on, server was reset and possible complaint to host was made...I wonder if host tried to fix something and this is a result.

Nevermind what would be done to said haxor, dobby didn't try to kill...just maim or seriously injure. All I can say is we're here and if we don't have backup xp files then we'll have to do what was done when servers were switched.

PS I just got back on and it appears that all xp save is off so if an server moderator can turn it back on then at least until people can get all their xp back the xp earned can be saved.

As far as Your Jaymod thru ES they migrated the server to a new box so as soon as they send Duty the info I'm sure it will be back up soon. I had same issues last night.

The issue was that the full absolute path to the directory where XP is saved was incorrect after I had the server moved to a new IP. Once I fixed it and restarted server, XP came right back.
