just did a ping,test,awsome score with a 2 jitter
then i did a bandwidth test,and got a D
so baseically i download real fast,and upload real slow..

is that my internet provider,or some setting on  my end
if im not uploading fast enoughf,then et will play sh!tty no ????

no... Ive played et with 256mb/s internet (my phone internet) and could play with it easily, ET dont require good internet but its your computer/location where youre from what matters

most isps are like this as people
tend to dl more then they ul but
most isps have special packages
for people who have hosts and
so thet need to have ul speed
[not needed for online gaming
unless you are hosting and even
then not even really nessasary]

but noname mostly is right...
et was designed when aol
dial up was the dominant isp
so its meant to work well with
low quality internet meaning
you should be able to play it
without major lag problems if
you have the right settings...
even if your internet goes thru
miles of rusted old tin cans
glued together under water

the server needs to be fixed is the main problem. crashing all the time and laggy.

I run 50kb/s and im able to play on most servers in ET and a few other games. So your speed shouldnt be a problem since somehow i can play!!! ;D

that all depends on your connection
and without being on your computer
i couldnt really give exact numbers
but adjust /rate and /snaps to find
a good combo for your connection

i dont have any lag,not in the sense that i percieve im moveing slow,or cant move
but many nights,im unstoppable for the first 5-10 min..
then after that,i turn a corner,see an enemy,shoot right away
and he mows me down,and i do 15 damage to him

allways makes me think the other guy is botting
just seems the 2 players arnt on the same time,like he has a 1-2 secont drop on me

some players are just sneaky or
have a lot of exp on that map &
sometimes its just chance that
they get the drop on you or they
get a few headshots quickly &
some have wicked cfgs and so
can see things you wouldnt or
have their cp process it 1st &
some use hacks or aim bots
so you spec them if it happens
consistantly and be sure of it
