Ok Today I'm going to give you a guide to help anybody that is having trouble with their PS3 Media Server or does not understand how to use it.

Since Sony and their partners made it very hard to access the Media Server their way, I have found a tool that is very useful and easier to transfer your music, pictures, and video to your PS3 system.

What you Need:
A PS3
A Computer with Music, Pictures, and/or Videos you want on your PS3
PS3 Media Server Tool ( App, Download link will be provided below)
   Windows- http://code.google.c....1.exe&can=2&q=
   Mac- http://code.google.c....1.dmg&can=2&q=
   Linux- http://code.google.c....1.tgz&can=2&q=
Understanding of Computers and where you put your files. (lol)

Howto-
1. Download the tool for the required OS above.
2. Make sure your PS3 is allowing searching for Media Servers. (Settings->Network Settings->Media Server Connection) If not enabled, click enable.
3.Open Up the PS3 Media Server Tool.
4. Now your your PS3, go to Photo(if you want to add photos), Music (if you want to add Music), or Video (if you want to add video).
5. Now look for a PS3 in a white box and it should say "PS3 Media Server [NameofYourComputer]". Click that.
6. Click on C:\{Hard Drive] then Users (for Win7) then your profile name (my case "Jimmy") then Desktop then your folder called "Music". Click it.
7. Now you should see all your music in that folder with their names. Depending on how you downloaded your music, there could be weird names with a bunch of numbers and letters.
8. Press Triangle then Copy Multiple. Select all if you want all that music or select the ones you want. Then click ok.
9. It may be slow since it's sending it through your local network and downloading it again to the PS3.
10. Do the same as above for your pictures and videos.

Congrats you just transferred your files through your PS3 Media Server!!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via Facebook or here on the forums!!
